MASKED & MOVING FORWARD

Masked & Moving Forward was an initiative to support small local businesses in raising awareness about how they have been coping and navigating through these challenging times, how they have changed their business to adapt and how clients, customers and consumers can find their products & services. This initiative was showcased through video interview segments, which can be found on our Youtube channel. Click below to view these segments. Business owners are facing the same adversities that community members are facing, but they also wear a different hat, which presents its own challenges and issues in and of itself. In addition to raising awareness and to stand behind our mission of spreading, reminding, and engaging the community in acts of kindness to support positive mental health, our goal with

the campaign was to offer a community platform for small local businesses to share their stories of the unexpected and unforeseen changes they have been faced with and how they have adapted. We also wanted to provide information and awareness to customers, clients, and consumers on how they could access these businesses products and services. In addition to our discussions, we offered community giveaways and fun products to be won. We continue to advocate for #positivementalhealth for local independent business owners.

THE 6 PILLARS OF
POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH

The 6 Pillars of Positive Mental Health is a 6-month campaign encompassing what we feel are 6 essential parts to promoting #positivementalhealth. In addition to promoting positive mental health, we are also raising funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association – Simcoe County where all proceeds collected and raised in 2021 will be donated to them.

The 6 pillars include – physical, emotional, environmental, social, spiritual, and financial. Each of us in some way are affected by pieces of each of these pillars and we are all different in how we allow each pillar to impact us. Different pillars hold more weight for some than they do for others, and that is okay. The main purpose behind discussing these ‘pillars’ is to understand how they can affect our lives and the different techniques or methods out there to help us navigate living our best lives. We essentially want to help you, live the best life with the best version of yourself that you could possibly be. We look forward to getting to know you and hope you enjoy the journey with us.
